The new video for Turn Again, the first single from my upcoming album Dominion of Spells, is OUT NOW!
Written for my son and his imaginary shapeshifting games, the song draws on the folk ballad Tam Lin, where an enchanted knight asks his lover Janet to “hold me fast and fear me not” as he transformed into monstrous shapes. Her unwavering embrace breaks his spell. Turn Again reframes this image through the lens of parenthood, exploring the delicate balance between holding children close and learning to let them go.
